Install Solar Charger in a location without obstruction from the sun, where it can receive at least 3-4 hours of direct sunlight per day. For best results, install facing South if located in the northern hemisphere; install facing North if located in the southern hemisphere. Fully charge the doorbell battery before installing the doorbell in the Solar Charger.

Decent mount and charger
Only wish the solar cells were larger. I have no place to mount it where it gets 8+ hours of constant sunlight while still having a view of my door, so the Ring battery is still slowly draining. (Maybe 1% every two days)
UPDATED POST: Does not help keep charge! Waste of money!
