Yes. A 30-day trial of Protect Go begins when you first set up your Ring Car Cam in the Ring app. If you purchase a Protect Go subscription during your 30-day trial, you won’t lose any of your trial days. Your first day of billing will begin after the 30-day trial is over.
How many devices does a subscription cover?
Each Ring Protect Go subscription covers one Ring Car Cam.
What if I sell my car and buy another car?
Protect Go is connected to your Ring Car Cam, not your vehicle. You may re-install your Car Cam in a different car and use the same features as before.
How do I share access to my Ring Car Cam with the Protect Go subscription?
You can share access to your Ring Car Cam with Shared Users. Any Shared User will also have access to the Protect Go plan.
Will the Ring Protect Go plan work outside of the U.S.?
No, LTE connectivity to your camera through Protect Go only works when you are in the U.S. for your Ring Car Cam.
Do I get a 10% discount with Protect Go?
No. The 10% discount only applies to the Ring Home Basic, Standard, or Premium subscription plans.
