Can I opt-out of Ring sharing my data with third-parties?

Users can now opt out of sharing their information for the purpose of receiving personalized ads. If a user opts out, Ring will not share their information with third parties to serve them personalized Ring ads. If they visit Ring.com and are not logged in though, Ring will not know to apply this preference to the user’s visit. Although we believe personalized advertising can deliver a better neighbor experience, beginning this week we will provide users with a choice to opt out in Control Center.

Can I opt-out of Personalized Advertising?

Yes. If you opt out, Ring will not share your information with third parties to serve them personalized Ring ads. If you visit Ring.com and are not logged in, Ring will not know to apply this preference to your visit. Although we believe personalized advertising can deliver a better neighbor experience, we will provide you with a choice to opt out in Control Center.

Is there a delay when I opt out of any of third-party advertising services?

It may take up to 30 days for personalized ads to no longer appear.
