Can I purchase Ring spare part kits in a retail store?

Ring Alarm spare part kits are not available in retail stores. However, these devices can be requested by contacting Customer Support. If you need additional replacement tape, we recommend purchasing 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4945 from your local hardware store.

What is Assisted Monitoring?

My Android phone isn’t showing notifications right away, or at all. How do I fix this?

Can I change the volume of my Base Station? Does this change the volume for the siren as well?

While the siren will always play at max volume you can change the volume for the entry/exit delays, as well as chirps, from the Base Station’s device page.  

To change the volume of your Base Station:

  1. Go to the menu (☰).
  2. Tap Devices.
  3. Tap Alarm Base Station.
  4. Tap Base Station.
  5. Tap Audio Settings.
  6. Then adjust the volume settings as needed.

How do I change the volume on the Keypad? Does this also change the volume for the siren?  Can the Keypad play chirps?

Like the Base Station, the siren will always play from the Keypad at max volume.

To adjust the device’s entry/exit delay sounds:

  1. Go to the menu (☰).
  2. Tap Devices.
  3. Tap Alarm Base Station.
  4. Tap the name of the Keypad you wish to adjust.
  5. Tap Audio Settings.
  6. Then adjust the volume settings as needed.
