How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, Amazon doesn't use a simple average. Instead, Amazon's system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

You will need to have a gate or door with an electrical relay or Wiegand access system. With your security in mind, drivers are only granted one-time access. Therefore, access points that require an additional command to close or exit will not allow Amazon Key In-Gate Delivery to function properly. You can work with our recommended professional installation company here , or your local technician to confirm it will work at your home. For more information on compatibility, please visit this RACP2 technical page.

No. A Ring Video Doorbell or Cam is optional for customers who want to use it exclusively for remote access management and Amazon deliveries in the Ring app. Customers can also unlock their gate remotely from any Ring Video Doorbell or Cam during a Live View.
What is Amazon Key In-Gate Delivery?

Can I install this outside?

If a power strip is needed to complete your device setup, a larger weatherproof enclosure may be needed to accommodate. If unsure of how to install, please consult a qualified electrician.
What do I do if I want to receive deliveries that are from another carrier (not Amazon)?
To use the Ring Access Controller Pro 2 for non-Amazon deliveries, customers should view their Ring device’s Live View (if they have paired a Ring camera), from the Ring app to determine if a delivery driver is at their front door. Customers can then let the driver in to deliver the package by clicking on the lock icon from their Live View. Remember to buzz the driver out of your gate or door requires any further action to leave the property.

You can enable Amazon Key In-Gate Delivery within the settings for the Ring Access Controller Pro 2 in the Ring app. Once enabled, it typically takes 5 days to activate for the first time (though in rare cases it can take up to 30 days or longer). Will delivery drivers have access to my building whenever they want?
No. The access provided by Ring Access Controller Pro 2 via Amazon Key In-Gate Delivery is directly linked to the status of a customer’s package delivery. The Amazon delivery app confirms the driver has a package for your building that needs to be delivered at a specific time. Access will be denied if the driver does not have a package or the delivery window expires.
How do I know access to my building is safe?
Amazon Key In-Gate Delivery uses a multi-step authentication process which will confirm the driver’s ID, delivery route, and time of request via the secure AWS cloud, before granting building access.
