Learn how to generate a verification code from Ring Control Center to sign in to a new Ring device.

Generating a code in Control Center
If you don't have access to your text messages or your enrolled device's authenticator app, you can generate a code from Control Center in Account Verification.
From the Ring app:
- Open the Ring app.
- Tap the topmenu (☰).
- TapControl Center.
- TapAccount Verification.
- Scroll down to Generate a Verification Code.
- Under Authorize a New Device, tapGenerate.
- You may be asked to re-enter your password.
- Enter the code on the new device you wish to sign in.
From your mobile or desktop browser window:
- If you're on desktop: tap theDashboardhome icon at the top, thenAccount.
- If you're on mobile: tap the topmenu(☰).
- TapControl Center.
- TapAccount Verification.
- Scroll down to Generate a Verification Code.
- Under Authorize a New Device, tapGenerate.
- You may be asked to re-enter your password.
- Enter the code on the new device you wish to sign in.
Troubleshooting your sign-in to Ring
If you're having trouble receiving a verification code by text message or authenticator app, you can use an alternate method to verify your account.
