The ring spotlight is great, but most of us in older homes don't have outlets installed under the eaves of our roofs. This product allows you to convert the plugin ring to a hardwired design.

The hard wire kit for the Ring Spotlight Cam is pricey but it comes with all the parts necessary to integrate it into an existing power source. Although please note that you can save yourself $50 if you buy a wired Ring Spotlight Cam and cut the cord and splice it directly into the power source wher...e you need it. There is also an added benefit of doing this, it allows you to position the camera nearly anywhere do you want within 20 feet from your power source. However, if this is not an option and you must install your Ring Spotlight Cam directly into an existing power source such as an outside light this kit is an excellent means by which to do that.Read more
