Ring Power Packs can also support the 24/7 Backup Internet2 feature, available with a Protect Home Premium subscription, sold separately. Alarm Pro needs enough power to connect to the internet using cellular data, and if the power goes out, a Power Pack can provide that power to keep Alarm Pro on.
Can I use a Power Pack with any eero wifi extender?
Ring Power Packs are designed to work with eero 6 Extenders. You can use any eero wifi extender, but Power Packs only work with wifi 6 Extenders.
Can I use any other external battery for the Ring Alarm Pro?
No. Only Ring Power Packs can be used to provide external battery backup for your Ring Alarm Pro.
