The Floodlight Cam Wired Plus is a hardwired security camera with sensor light that does require connection to your home’s electrical system and should be installed by a qualified electrician. With a powerful wide beam of light and clear night vision, hardwired installation ensures non-stop power.

If you have existing wiring available you can install Floodlight Cam Wired Plus upside-down on a ceiling or eave. Simply follow the instructions in the manual here.

Floodlight Cam Wired Plus allows you to configure your privacy settings depending on your current needs. This hardwired floodlight security camera creates Privacy Zones that black out certain areas of your property that you do not want to record. Toggle motion notifications, motion or audio recording off in the Ring App at any given time. Create a motion schedule to enable motion notifications and recording during the times you're usually away.

Yes, you can schedule the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus to turn on and off quickly and easily via the Ring App on your mobile device. You can also configure how long the lights stay on after detecting motion and set regular schedules using our dusk-to-dawn feature. Perfect for backyards and dark areas, this security floodlight offers a wide-angle view and built-in security siren.

If you have a subscription to Ring Home, videos captured by your doorbell or camera will be saved to your Ring account for up to 180 days and photos captured will be saved to your Ring account for up to 7 days, so you can review them at any time.

A free 30-day Ring Home trial is included with any Ring Video Doorbell or Security Camera purchase unless you are already subscribed to a Home Standard or Premium at the same location of the new device. You can choose to subscribe to Ring Home at any time to save, review and share all videos and photos captured by your Video Doorbell or Security Camera, and you will be charged when you subscribe to a plan and after your trial ends. No. You can still use Floodlight Cam Wired Plus to watch over your home from anywhere, even without a subscription to Ring Home. Without Ring Home, you’ll still receive real-time notifications when motion is detected, and you can answer the notification to see, hear and speak to people on camera in real time from your mobile device.
