What is Neighbors?
Neighbors is a free app designed to help residents connect with their communities and stay informed about what’s going on around them – whether they are a Ring customer or not. We created Neighbors as a place for residents to share important community information, and receive updates from from organizations that live in, work with, and serve the local community.
What are Neighbors Verified Accounts?
Verified Accounts provide local government and public safety organizations with a free interface of their jurisdiction enabling them to connect, communicate, and share hyper-local updates with their residents on Neighbors. Verified Accounts have the ability to view and comment on publicly posted content from the feed, as well as share real-time posts to keep their community informed.

How can I access my Verified Account?
You can log in to your Verified Account by visiting publicsafety.ring.com.
Is it possible to log in to my Verified Account using the Ring/Neighbors app?
No, you can only access your Verified Account through publicsafety.ring.com, which is accessible from your computer or mobile devices.
Is the Neighbors app exclusively for Ring customers?
No, the Neighbors by Ring app is available for free download to any resident in the community, regardless of whether they are Ring customers or not.

We can view what local residents have posted publicly to Neighbors and can now chime-in with relevant updates or information alerts to help residents stay informed. You do not need to be a Ring customer to join Neighbors. Anyone with a smartphone can download the Neighbors App for free in order to receive updates and have the option to post photos or videos from any device.
