Does Battery Video Doorbell Pro save my videos and photos so I can view them later?
If you want to save and share the videos captured by your Ring Video Doorbell or Security Camera then you'll need a subscription to Ring Home. With a subscription to Ring Home, you can save videos captured by your Video Doorbell to your Ring account for up to 180 days. You can also choose how long your videos are stored through the Control Centre. Photos captured will be saved to your Ring account for up to 7 days, so you can review them at any time. A free 30-day Ring Home Trial is included with any Ring Video Doorbell or home Security Camera purchase unless you already have a Ring Home Standard or Premium subscription at the same location. You may subscribe to a Ring Home Plan at any time during your trial, and you won’t be charged for your subscription until after your trial ends.

Enhanced Colour Night Vision and the Low-Light Sight feature allow you to see what’s happening after dark in more detail. An advanced software feature, Colour Night Vision brings colour back into the image when set to night-mode, while the upgraded lens and image sensors of Low-Light Sight provide a clear image in low-light conditions. Plus, zonal Infrared LEDs banish bright, blown-out images and help eliminate over or under-exposed video by automatically adjusting to reduce nighttime glare for improved image clarity.

Do I need Ring Home to use Battery Video Doorbell Pro?
No. You can still use Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras to watch over your home and answer the door from anywhere, even without a subscription to Ring Home. Without Ring Home, you’ll still receive real-time notifications when anyone comes to your door, and you can answer the notification to see, hear, and speak to visitors in real time right from your mobile device.
However, without a subscription to Ring Home, you won’t be able to review any videos that you missed in real time, and you won’t be able to save your videos or share them with anyone. Photos will not be captured. Click here to learn more about Ring Home and to choose a plan that works for you.
