What are the differences between each Ring Security Cam?
Indoor Camera (2nd Gen) is an indoor-only camera that plugs into standard power sockets for non-stop power. It features 1080p HD video and has a manual Privacy Cover that turns off the video and sound until you need it next. It also sends notifications whenever motion is detected. When you answer the notification, you can see, hear and speak to people on camera from your phone, tablet or PC.
Stick Up Cam is a versatile camera that goes anywhere indoors or out. It’s weather-resistant and comes in five different power options.
• Stick Up Cam Batttery is powered by the Quick-Release Battery Pack.
• Stick Up Cam Plug-In is powered by an AC adapter that plugs into standard power sockets.
• Stick Up Cam Elite uses Power over Ethernet for nonstop power and a reliable connection.
All Stick Up Cams come with 1080p HD video and send notifications whenever motion is detected, so you can see, hear and speak to whoever is on your property from your phone, tablet or PC.

Do Ring Security Cameras save my videos and photos so I can review them later?
If you have a subscription to Ring Protect, videos captured by your Ring Security Cameras will be saved to your Ring account for up to 180 days, so you can review them at any time. Photos captured will be saved to your Ring account for up to 7 days.
A free 30-day Ring Protect Plus Trial is included with any Ring doorbell or camera purchase unless you are already subscribed to a Plus Plan at the same location of the new device. You can choose to subscribe to Ring Protect at any time to save, review and share all videos and photos captured by your doorbell or camera, and you will be charged when you subscribe to a plan and after your trial ends. Do I need Ring Protect to use the security camera?
No. You can still use your doorbell or camera to watch over your home and answer the door from anywhere, even without a subscription to Ring Protect. Without Ring Protect, you’ll still receive real-time notifications when anyone comes to your door, and you can answer the notification to see, hear and speak to visitors in real time right from your mobile device.
