Ring subscription plan changes starting January 14, 2026
Ring Home plans were renamed Ring Protect plans on January 14, 2026. Your subscription automatically transitions to your new plan, and you keep the same features.

Understanding subscription changes by plan
If you had a Home Basic plan
Your plan name is now Ring Solo.
If you had a Home Standard plan (without Professional Protection add-ons) or a Protect Plus (1st Gen) plan without an Alarm device
Your plan name is now Ring Multi.
If you had a Protect Plus (1st Gen) plan with an Alarm device
You’ll migrate to Premium Legacy on your next renewal, which includes 24/7 Professional Monitoring at no additional charge.

If you had a Home Standard plan and Smoke & CO Pro Monitoring add-on
Your plan name is now Ring Multi with the Smoke & CO Pro Monitoring add-on.
If you had a Home Standard plan and 24/7 Professional Monitoring add-on
Your plan name is now Ring AI Pro.
If you had a Home Standard plan, 24/7 Professional Monitoring add-on, and a trial of Premium features
Your plan name is now Premium Legacy.
If you had a Home Premium plan without a Virtual Security Guard add-on
Your plan name is now Premium Legacy, which includes 24/7 Professional Monitoring at no additional charge.
Important note: 24/7 Professional Monitoring is only available in the US and Canada (excluding Quebec).
If you had a Virtual Security Guard add-on
Your plan name is now Virtual Security Guard.
