Deleting Recent Activity From the Ring App

Follow the steps below to delete recent events from your Event History in the Ring app. Events include doorbell rings, Live Views, motion events, and other activity.

Deleting a single Event

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap the History shortcut to access Event History.

3. Tap

   Actions

4. Tap more (•••) on the Event you want to delete.
5. Tap

   Delete

   .
6. Tap 

   Delete

   to confirm.

Deleting multiple Events

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap the History shortcut to access Event History.

3. Tap the pencil icon.
4. Select the Video Events you want to delete.
5. Tap

   Delete

   .
6. Tap 

   Delete

   to confirm.

Deleting all Events at once

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap the History shortcut to access Event History.

3. Tap the pencil icon.
4. Tap

   Delete All

   . 
5. Tap 

   Delete All

   to confirm.
6. Tap

   Delete All

   once more to confirm again.

Once you've deleted your events, you cannot reverse the process and they can't be recovered. It can take up to 72 hours to fully delete all events.
