Neighbors App Information

The Neighbors app can be used by anyone, regardless of whether they own a Ring device.

Frequently asked questions

Can I be a member of more than one location?

Users of the Neighbors app can only be a member of one location at any given time.

Ring app users who have devices set up in more than one location can be a member of each location that a device is set up in.

Can I change my location? 

Yes, if you do not have any Ring devices and are using the Neighbors app. 

To change your location:

1.     Go to

   Settings

   in the

   Neighbors app

   .
2.     Tap on

   Address.
3.     Select a new address.

If you have Ring devices and use either the Ring app or the Neighbors app:

1.     In the

   Ring app,

   open the side menu and tap on

   Settings

   .
2.     Tap on

   Change Address

   .
3.     Enter a new address.

How do I tell my community about the Neighbors app?

From the Neighbors app:

1.   Tap the

   menu (≡)

   on the left side of your Dashboard.
2.   Tap on

   Invite Friends

   .
3.   Tap

   Send an invite

   .
4.   Select a messaging app to share the Neighbors link.

From the Ring app:

1.     Tap the

   menu (≡)

   on the left side of your Dashboard. 
2.     Tap on

   Invite Neighbors

   .
3.     Tap

   Send an invite

   .
4.     Select a messaging app to share the Neighbors link.
