Deleting recent activity in the Ring app

Follow the steps below to delete recent events from your Event History in the Ring app. Events include doorbell rings, Live Views, motion events, and other activity.

Deleting individual events

1. Open your Ring app.
2. On the Dashboard, tap

   History

   to access Event History.
3. Tap

   Actions

   .
4. Tap the tick box next to the event you want to delete.
5. Tap

   Delete

   .
6. Tap 

   Delete

   to confirm.

Deleting all events at once

1. Open your Ring app.
2. On the Dashboard, tap

   History

   to access Event History.
3. Tap

   Actions

   .
4. Tap

   Delete All

   . 
5. Tap 

   Delete All

   to confirm.
6. Tap 

   Delete All

   one more time to confirm again.

Important:

Once you've deleted your events, you cannot reverse the process and they can't be recovered. It can take up to 72 hours to fully delete all events.
