Can I mount Stick Up Cam Pro on an overhang or eave?

What’s the dual power? How do I change the power source?
Stick Up Cam Pro Battery and Stick Up Cam Pro Plug-In have options for dual power. This means that they have primary power sources with a backup power source to keep you connected.
Stick Up Cam Pro Battery comes with a Quick Release Battery Pack, and you can also purchase the Indoor/Outdoor Power Adapter (sold separately) to plug it into standard power outlets. When plugged into an outlet, Stick Up Cam Pro Battery will be powered by the adapter and will use the battery as backup.
Stick Up Cam Pro Plug-In comes with an AC adapter that plugs into standard power outlets, and you can also purchase a Quick Release Battery Pack (sold separately) for dual power. With the Quick Release Battery Pack inserted, Stick Up Cam Pro Plug-In will be powered by the adapter and will use the battery as backup. With Stick Up Cam Pro Plug-In ,subscribe to Ring Home Premium (sold separately), to enable 24/7 Recording1 and Continuous Live View.
What privacy features are included with Stick Up Cam Pro?
Stick Up Cam Pro lets you create privacy zones that black out areas of your home that you don’t want to monitor. You can also disable motion recording, alerts and audio right from the app to give you some peace and quiet. Plus, you can also schedule your motion alerts to turn on at the same time you typically leave the house and turn off at the time you typically return.
Which solar panels are compatible with Stick Up Cam Pro?
Stick Up Cam Pro Solar comes with a Solar Panel (4W), packaged separately. Mini Solar Panel (1.9W), Solar Panel (4W) are compatible with Stick Up Cam Pro Battery through USB-C port. The Solar Panel (2.4W) is also compatible with Stick Up Cam Pro Battery with purchase of USB-C/Barrel-Plug Adapter.
Does Stick Up Cam Pro save my videos and photos so I can view them later?
If you have a subscription to Ring Home, motion event videos captured by your Security Camera will be saved to your Ring account for up to 180 days. You can manage your video storage time through the Control Centre. Photos captured will be saved to your Ring account for up to 7 days, so you can review them at any time. More information about video storage can be found here. Without a subscription, you can view real-time video for Security Cameras and get notifications as they happen, but your videos and photos will not be saved.
A free Ring Home trial is included with any home Security Camera purchase unless you are already have a Ring subscription at the same location. You may subscribe to a Ring Home Plan at any time during your trial, and you won’t be charged for your subscription until after your trial ends.
If you have a subscription to Ring Home, you can share your videos and photos with anyone, including neighbours, friends, family and local law enforcement.

Do I need Ring Home to use Stick Up Cam Pro?
No. You can still use your Security Camera to see what's happening at home, even without a subscription to Ring Home. Without Ring Home, you'll still receive real-time notifications whenever motion is detected and you can answer the notification to see hear, and speak to visitors in real time right from your mobile device. When you access your Ring Dashboard, you'll be able to view the image last captured by active devices.

Yes. Does Ring Intercom record or store my conversations?
No. By default Ring Intercom does not record or store conversations.
If you are the owner of another Ring device on your property, such as a Video Doorbell or Security Camera, you can connect this device to your Ring Intercom via the Ring app, using the Linked Devices feature. With Linked Devices activated and a Ring Home plan in place, a visitor interacting with your building intercom will trigger your other selected Ring device to start recording.
Do I need a Ring Home Plan to receive notifications?
No. Notifications are available without a Ring Home plan.
Can I also enable direct access to my apartment for visitors or delivery drivers?
No. Ring Intercom only allows you to unlock the entrance to your apartment building, not your apartment itself.
My intercom opens multiple common entrances, will I be able to open them all through the Ring app?
It depends on the brand and model of your existing intercom system. We recommend that you use the compatibility checker to confirm whether your intercom system supports this functionality.
Does Auto-Verify for Amazon Deliveries mean that my packages are left in the lobby of my building?

If I have a video intercom, will I be able to see who is at the building entrance?
No, you will not be able to stream or record video if you connect Ring Intercom with your video intercom system but you will be able to speak to visitors at your building entrance and buzz them in using your smartphone.
