Replacing your Ring Alarm Keypad (1st Gen)

Before you begin, make sure your Ring Alarm is disarmed.

Remove your Keypad (1st Generation)

1. Unplug the Keypad.
2. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.
3. Tap the

   Alarm

   tile under Devices.
4. Tap

   Connected Devices

   .
5. Tap the Keypad.
6. Tap the

   Device Settings

   tile then

   Remove

   at the bottom of the screen.
7. Tap

   Remove Device

   .
8. The Base Station will attempt to remove the Alarm device from your system.

Add your new Keypad (2nd Generation)

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap Set Up a Device at the bottom of the screen.

3. Tap

   Set up a Ring Alarm Base Station or Z-wave Sensor

   .
4. Follow the in-app instructions to complete setup.
5. Mount the new Keypad in the same spot as your original Keypad, or choose a convenient location so you can arm and disarm easily as you come and go. You can rest the Keypad on a flat surface or install it on a wall with the bracket and screws included.
