How to Pause Alerts from Cameras and Doorbells in the Ring App

Learn how to temporarily silence Motion Alerts in the Ring app for your Ring doorbells and cameras.

Turning on Alerts Snooze for all cameras and doorbells in the Ring app

You can temporarily silence Motion Alerts for all your doorbells and cameras with Alerts Snooze. Keep in mind, Doorbell Rings and Priority Alerts will remain on.

  1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

  2. Tap the Alerts Snooze crescent moon icon at the top of your screen.
  3. Choose the
    Snooze Duration
    time.
  4. Tap the Start Snooze button.

If you are subscribed to a Ring Home Plan, your Ring cameras and doorbells will continue to record Video Events.

Turning off Alerts Snooze for all cameras and doorbells in the Ring app:

  1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

  2. Tap the Alerts Snooze filled in crescent moon icon at the top of your screen.
  3. Tap the
    End Snooze
    .

Turning on Alerts Snooze for one camera or doorbell in the Ring app

You can temporarily silence Motion Alerts for a single doorbell or camera. Keep in mind, Doorbell Rings and Priority Alerts will remain on.

  1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

  2. Tap more (•••) on the camera you want to access.

  3. Tap the bell icon to temporarily snooze alerts.
  4. Tap again to turn back on.

If you are subscribed to a Ring Home Plan, your Ring cameras and doorbells will continue to record Video Events.
