Ring Home Trial Information

With your Ring Home Trial,1 you can save, share and replay recorded videos of doorbell rings, motion and Live View events for up to 180 days2 and try new, advanced features in the Ring app. If you have a Ring Alarm, you can use enhanced features like arming and disarming in the Ring app, and try Alarm Professional Monitoring. Shared Users on your Guest Users have access to all the benefits of your subscription trial, but can’t make any changes to your account.

Managing videos within your trial

Your videos will be permanently deleted when the trial ends. To keep your videos past the trial period, you’ll need to subscribe to a plan before the trial ends or download your videos during the trial period. If you subscribe to a plan before your trial ends, you can keep your motion event videos for up to 180 days. The storage period for videos begins on the day each video is recorded, so individual videos have their own maximum storage time. To keep 24/7 recordings (up to 14 days),3 you’ll need to subscribe to Ring Home Premium before your trial ends.

How to subscribe to Ring Home

  1. From a web browser,
    .
  2. Go to the
    Plans
    tab and select
    Unsubscribed Devices
    . You’ll see a list of devices that aren’t covered by a plan.
  3. Select
    Subscribe
    , then choose a plan and the devices you want coverage for.
    • Select a monthly or annual payment option.
    • Enter your payment information and check out.
    • Review your order and select Purchase.
    • You will receive a confirmation email for your subscription purchase.

When you’ll be billed for your subscription

If you subscribe to a Ring Home plan during your trial period, you will be billed the day after your trial ends, unless you are an existing Ring subscriber, in which case you will be billed immediately.
