Changing Your Ring Account Information

Learn how to update your password, email address, name or phone number in your Ring account.

Updating your Ring account name, phone number, email address and password

You can check and change your name, phone number, email address and password on your Ring account from the Control Center in the Ring app or on Ring.com.

I forgot my Ring account password

From the Ring app:

1. Tap the

   Menu (☰).
2. Scroll down and tap

   Control Center

   .
3. Tap

   Account Management

   .
4. Tap

   Update

   next to the detail you want to change (name, email, phone, password)
5. For your security, you may be asked to verify your identity by logging in.
6. Tap

   Save

   to change the information you've changed.

From your desktop or mobile browser:

1. Log in to your account at Ring.com.
   • If you're on desktop: tap the 

     Dashboard

      home icon at the top, then 

     Account

     .
   • If you're on mobile: tap the top 

     menu

      

     (☰).
2. Scroll down to

   Control Center

   .
3. Click

   Account Management

   .
4. Click

   Update

   on the information you want to change
5. Change the information and tap

   Save.
6. You may be asked to enter a verification code before you can Save.

   Help me find my verification code.
7. For your security, you'll be signed out of your Ring account on all devices.
8. Sign in to your Ring account again.
