Update the payment method for your Ring subscription

Add, change, or remove payment information for a subscription plan by signing in to Ring.com. Payments cannot be updated in the Ring app.

Things to know

  • A Ring account may only have one subscription payment method on file.
  • If you have a valid payment method on file all subscriptions will be charged to that payment method.
  • Adding a new payment method doesn’t subscribe you to a plan.
  • Only the account owner can update or remove a payment method on Ring.com.
  • You can pay for your subscription plans with any debit or credit card.
    . We don’t support the use of gift cards for subscription purchases.
  • If you subscribe to a plan during a trial, you'll be charged after the trial is over.

Add a new payment method on Ring.com

  1. Tap
    Account
    then
    Control Centre.
  2. Tap
    Account Management
    .
  3. Scroll down to Payment Method and select
    Add New
    .
  4. Enter your payment information and select
    Continue
    .

Update your payment method on Ring.com

  1. Tap
    Account
    then
    Control Centre.
  2. Tap
    Account Management
    .
  3. Scroll down to Payment Method and select
    Manage
    .
  4. Tap
    Add New
    to replace your payment method.
  5. Select
    Change For All Plans
    .
    • If you leave this page before saving your new credit card information, your payment method will be deleted. A missing payment method may cause your subscription to expire, and all your recorded videos to be permanently deleted.
  6. Enter your payment information and select
    Continue
    .

How to add a new device to an existing plan

Log into your account on Ring.com:

  1. Tap the plan tile.
  2. Select the
    Unsubscribed Devices
     you want covered.
  3. Tap
    Subscribe
    .
  4. Choose a location.
  5. Choose a plan.
  6. Choose a payment plan (monthly or annual).
  7. Review your order.
  8. Enter your payment information and check out.
