Receiving Text Notifications When Alarm Is Triggered
Never miss an emergency when Ring Alarm is triggered by opting into text notifications from our monitoring center sent to your emergency contacts1 with Professional Monitoring2 (eligible Ring subscription required).
Understanding Text Messages for Ring Alarm
Text messages3 notifying you that an alarm event has happened will be sent from the monitoring center at 833-209-2159. The text message will give you the location where Alarm has been triggered and a link from alert.msahub.com where your emergency contact can cancel the alarm signal or request help from emergency responders.
If your emergency contacts don't cancel the alarm signal using the provided text link, you’ll still receive phone calls from the monitoring center. Canceling an alarm signal does not disarm your alarm system or silence the Alarm siren. The Ring Alarm Owner or Shared User must disarm the alarm in the Ring app or from the Keypad.
