Update for Ring Alarm Base Stations with Verizon LTE

On September 10, 2024, Ring will no longer support Ring Alarm Base Stations and subscriptions purchased through Verizon.

As a Verizon Ring Alarm Base Station owner, you will receive an email from Ring offering you a free Ring Alarm 5-Piece Kit replacement.¹ This Alarm kit replacement will work with your existing Ring Alarm Contact Sensors, Motion Detectors and other compatible accessories.

When you receive your Ring Alarm 5-Piece Kit replacement, you will need to set it up at the same Location in your Ring account as your previous Verizon alarm to be eligible for the free extended subscription trial with all the benefits of Ring Protect Pro.¹ After setup, your subscription trial will start automatically and end on January 31, 2025.

If you are currently subscribed to a Security by Ring plan purchased through Verizon, you will not be charged by Verizon for new bill cycles that start after June 10, 2024. Your Security by Ring plan purchased through Verizon will end on September 10, 2024. For uninterrupted Ring benefits, set up your replacement Ring Alarm Base Station by September 10, 2024.
