What is the Ring No-Drill Mount?

The Ring No-Drill Mount is a mounting plate designed for the Ring Video Doorbell 3 and 3 Plus, Battery Doorbell Plus or Battery Doorbell Pro. It's ideal for renters who can’t drill holes in their homes. Just mount your new doorbell to the wall outside your door.

How does the No-Drill Mount work?

The No-Drill Mount uses double-sided adhesive to attach the plate to your wall. Your doorbell can then be securely screwed into the mounting plate.

Is the No-Drill Mount compatible with the Ring Solar Doorbell Chargers?

No. The No-Drill Mount cannot be used to mount the Ring Solar Doorbell Charger for Ring doorbells.

Is the adhesive tape waterproof? 

Yes. The adhesive on the back of the No-Drill Mount will hold even in inclement weather. 

How do I remove the No-Drill Mount from the wall?

To remove the No-Drill Mount from the wall, both tapes should be pulled downward simultaneously. The tapes are normally tucked between the device and adapter plate when not in use.

Can I reuse the adhesive tape?

No. The adhesive tape is designed for one-time use, but the package does come with additional tapes for re-installation. 

What are the best materials to use the No-Drill Mount on?

The No-Drill Mount will be most effective on painted wood, stucco, concrete, painted aluminum, and raw concrete. The Mount may be difficult to remove if attached to raw brick, stucco on brick, vinyl siding, and tile. Should not be used on glass. In all cases, the wall should be wiped clean before attaching the No-Drill Mount.

Be sure to install the No-Drill Mount first and make sure it's firmly attached before installing the wedge kit, corner kit, or doorbell.

What size is the No-Drill Mount?

The No-Drill Mount is 5 in. by 2.5 in. (12.8cm x 6.2 cm). Be sure you have enough room before installing the No-Drill Mount.
