Update the payment method for your Ring subscription

Add, change, or remove payment information for a subscription plan by signing in to Ring.com. Payments cannot be updated in the Ring app.

Things to know

  • A Ring account might only have one subscription payment method on file.
  • If you have a valid payment method on file, all subscriptions will be charged to that payment method.
  • Adding a new payment method doesn’t subscribe you to a plan.
  • Only the account owner can update or remove a payment method on Ring.com.
  • You can pay for your subscription plans with any debit or credit card. Ring does not support the use of gift cards for subscription purchases.

  • You can also pay with the use SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) which allows secure bank transfers in euros between European accounts.

Add a new payment method on Ring.com

  1. Tap
    Account,
    then
    Control Centre.
  2. Tap
    Account Management
    .
  3. Scroll down to Payment Method and tap
    Add New
    .
  4. If necessary, select your country or region and verify or update your address.
  5. Enter your payment information and tap
    Save
    .

Update your payment method on Ring.com

  1. Click
    Account
    , then
    Control Centre.
  2. Click
    Account Management
    .
  3. Scroll down to Payment Method and click
    Manage
    .
  4. Click
    Add New
    to replace your payment method.
    • Credit Card Payment:
      Fill in the required fields for the Card number, expiry date, and security code, then complete the authorisation through your online banking service.
    • SEPA Direct Debit:
      Enter your IBAN (International Bank Account Number), provide your email address for payment notifications, then complete authorisation through your online banking service.
    • Payment authorisations might show an amount of 0€. This is only to validate your credit card and does not represent an actual charge or payment amount.
  5. Select
    Change For All Plans

    • If you leave this page before saving your new credit card information, your payment method will be deleted. A missing payment method may cause your subscription to expire, and all your recorded videos to be permanently deleted.
  6. Enter your payment information and tap
    Save
    .

A green confirmation banner at the top of the page will appear with new payment details or the SEPA mandate number. You will also receive a confirmation email in your inbox.
