24/7 Recording
To turn off audio recording, update the settings for your Ring device from the Ring app . Camera Icon On: Your device will record 24/7 Recording and Motion Events continuously. Camera Icon Off: Your device will not record 24/7 Recording or Motion Events. It will only record when you turn on Live View, or if you’ve set up any Linked Events . Change your Recording Mode to Motion-Based Recording You can turn off 24/7 Recording any time by switching back to the previous Motion-Based Recording.
