Stick Up Cam is updating

The initial update after your camera installs will take longer than subsequent updates. Your camera will tell you when the update is complete.

Stick Up Cam is plugged in but not working

  • Try another outlet. The one you’re using may be faulty or associated with a light switch.
  • If the camera is still not powering on, unplug the power source from the back of the unit and plug it back in to reboot.
  • Firmly press the setup button on the top of your camera. If it is receiving power, the LED will flash and the device will enter setup mode.

Stick up Cam is offline or not connecting to wifi

  • Check to make sure your Stick Up Cam is powered on and plugged in.
  • Check that all of your wires are properly plugged in and that the lights on the front of the router are on. You can also unplug your router for 30 seconds and see if your Stick Up Cam automatically reconnects when it is plugged back in.
  • Check to see whether another wifi device is having a problem connecting to the network.
  • Restart your router and run through the setup process again. Make sure you're close to your router and have your wifi password handy.
  • Check the last reported signal strength for your Stick Up Cam in the Ring app. If it is poor, you may need to move the camera closer to your router or consider using a Chime Pro wifi extender.

  • If the sound does not improve, try factory resetting your Stick Up Cam by holding the setup button down for 20 seconds.
, then test the sound again.
  • Remove the power source from your Stick Up Cam for 20 seconds, reinsert it, then test audio again.

Stick Up Cam is not detecting people at night

Make sure the Stick Up Cam’s infrared lights are toggled on in the Ring app.

Note: If your camera is facing a window, then motion detection features may not work properly. We recommend moving the device outside if you want to monitor outside areas.
