Pause alerts from Video Doorbells and Security Cameras in the Ring app

Learn how to temporarily silence Motion Alerts in the Ring app for Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras.

Turning on Alerts Snooze for all cameras and doorbells in the Ring app

You can temporarily silence Motion Alerts for all your doorbells and cameras with Alerts Snooze. Keep in mind, Doorbell rings and Priority Alerts¹ will remain on.

1. Open the Ring app to main dashboard.
2. Tap the Alerts Snooze crescent moon icon at the top of your screen.
3. Choose the

   Snooze Duration

   time.
4. Tap the Start Snooze button.

If you are subscribed to a Ring Home plan, your Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras will continue to record Video Events.

Turning off Alerts Snooze for all cameras and doorbells in the Ring app

1. Open the Ring app to main dashboard.
2. Tap the Alerts Snooze filled in crescent moon icon at the top of your screen.
3. Tap the

   End Snooze

   .

Turning on Alerts Snooze for one camera or doorbell in the Ring app

You can temporarily silence Motion Alerts for a single doorbell or camera. Keep in mind, Doorbell rings and Priority Alerts¹ will remain on.

1. Open the Ring app to main dashboard.
2. Tap the top

   Menu (☰)

   .
3. Tap

   Devices

   .
4. Select the device you wish to snooze.
5. Tap the

   Alerts Snooze

   tile.
6. Choose the

   Snooze Duration

   time.
7. Tap the Start Snooze button.

If you are subscribed to a Ring Home plan, your Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras will continue to record Video Events.
