Adjusting the Brightness for Camera Lights and Smart Lights in the Ring App

Is light on your Ring device too bright or too dim? You can change the Light Settings in the Ring app.

Changing the brightness for the light on your Ring device

For Security Cameras:

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap more (•••) on the camera you want to access.

3. Tap your device's Settings.

4. Tap the Device Settings tile.

5. Tap

   Light Settings

   .
6. Tap

   Light Brightness

   .
7. Adjust the lightness setting with the slider.
8. Tap

   Save

   when done.

For Smart Lights:

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap the

   Lights

   tile.
3. Select the Smart Light you want to access.
4. Tap

   Light Settings

5. Tap

   Light Brightness

Turning lights ON or OFF manually in the Ring app

For Security Cameras:

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap more (•••) on the camera you want to access.

3. Tap your device's Settings.

   to temporarily turn on or turn off.

For Smart Lights:

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap the

   Lights

   tile.
3. Select the Smart Light you want to access.
4. Tap

   Lights

   to temporarily turn on or turn off.

Turning lights ON or OFF for cameras while using Live View

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap on the camera preview tile.
3. Tap to Go Live

4. Tap the light icon at the bottom of your screen to turn on or turn off.
