Viewing your billing and order history
As the account owner, you can access your billing and order history on ring.com. Your Billing History shows Ring subscription charges, while your Order History allows you to view all orders you've placed on ring.com. Learn how to manage ring.com orders.
Important note: Billing and order history are not available in the Ring app.
Access your billing history and order history
To access your billing and order history:
- On a computer: ClickAccountat the top right. On a smartphone or tablet: Tap themenu icon (≡)on the top left.
- SelectBilling HistoryorOrder History.
To download an invoice from your billing history as a PDF, select View Invoice. If your subscription was purchased on Amazon, select View on Amazon.
Unexpected charges in your billing history
If you see unexpected charges on your account, check your subscription renewal dates and confirm how many subscriptions you have.
- On a computer:Select Plan. On a smartphone or tablet: Tap themenuicon (≡)on the top left, then tapPlan.
- Verify your subscription renewal dates, and confirm your total number of subscriptions is accurate.
Important note: If you see multiple subscription charges, it could be because you have multiple devices with Solo plans starting on the same date.
Virtual Security Guard
If you opted in to Extra Events, they are billed separately from your Ring subscription plan and your Virtual Security Guard subscription (at the end of each billing cycle). You can opt in or out of Extra Events at any time by visiting your Ring account.

Failed payments
If your payment fails, Ring will automatically try to charge your card again. However, if the charge continues to fail, your subscription will be canceled 21 days from the first failed payment date.
To resolve failed payments:
- Update or correct your card information.
- Try using a different card.
- Contact your bank if problems persist.
Changing the currency type
If your account shows the wrong currency (like CAD instead of USD), contact our Ring Customer Support team for help changing your currency.
To change the currency, Ring’s Customer Support team will need to cancel your plan. Save any videos you want to keep before contacting support. Learn how to download your Ring videos.
