Deleting a Ring Account

You can delete your Ring account from your account at Ring.com.

Deleting your Ring account will delete your personal data, including your Ring account, end all of your Ring subscriptions, and cause your Ring products and services to stop working.

If you want to cancel or delete your Ring account, first, remove any devices on the account.

Remove your Ring doorbell and camera devices

  1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

  2. Tap more (•••) on the camera you want to access.

  3. Tap your device's Settings.

  4. Tap Device Settings.

  5. Tap
    General Settings
    .
  6. Tap
    Remove this Device
    .

It's important to remove your devices to release ownership of your Ring device, before before deleting the account, uninstalling the devices, canceling a plan, or deleting the app.

Delete the account

After all devices have been removed, you can request the cancellation or deletion of your Ring account.

    • On mobile: Tap the
      menu (☰)
      on Ring.com, then tap
      Control Center
      .
    • On desktop: Click
      Dashboard
      home icon, then
      Account
      , then
      Control Center
      .
  1. Select
    Manage Your Data
    .
  2. Select
    Delete Data
    , under the "Delete Your Personal Data, Including Your Ring Account".
  3. You will be asked to enter your password.
  4. Select
    Delete my Account
    and confirm.

Warning! This will delete your Ring account and videos, end all of your Ring subscriptions, and cause your Ring products and services to stop working. This action cannot be undone.

After you submit the request for account deletion, the account will be deleted within 30 days.
