Ring Protect Go helps you take the protection of your Ring Car Cam further with features like Live View, Two-Way Talk, recorded video with LTE connectivity, disturbance alerts, map location, and more - at home or on the road. A Protect Go subscription costs $6 per month (or $60 per year) for each Car Cam. You can try a trial of Protect Go when you set up a new Car Cam in the Ring app. You won’t be charged for your subscription until your trial is over. At this time, Protect Go and Car Cam are only available for customers in the United States.

Features over home wifi
Record video to your Car Cam
The most recent videos captured on your dual-facing cameras will be saved on the Car Cam. Once your device reaches its storage capacity, new videos will begin to record over the oldest video.
Live View
You can see what your Car Cam sees and speak to anyone inside the vehicle from the Ring app only when your Cam Cam is connected to wifi. If your Car Cam is on the road or away from your wifi, Live View will not be accessible.
Push Notifications
Get notifications delivered to your mobile device or browser whenever your Car Cam detects disturbances while on the wifi. Notifications will be stored when away from wifi, and user will be notified once the Cam Cam is back on the wifi.
Privacy Cover
You can close the Car Cam cover to disable the cabin-facing camera and microphone. Get more information about privacy features.
