Ring Small Solar Panel*

Small but powerful — the Ring Small Solar Panel* features the same upgraded solar technology as the Solar Panel (2nd Generation) but in a convenient, compact size. It features an adjustable arm for 360-degree rotation, 180-degree tilt and a 6.5 ft (2 m) cable with built-in cable management to provide plenty of slack for you to mount the Small Solar Panel in a place that gets 3-4 hours of direct sunlight for peak performance. Checking Your Wall Light Solar Charging Source in the Ring App

Once you’ve added an external power source to your Wall Light Solar, learning how to check when and if the accessory is charging your device is key. You can easily view when your Wall Light Solar is charging by accessing its Device Health in the Ring app.

Wired adapters will always show as Charging.

If you have a wired adapter plugged into your Ring Smart Lighting device, it will always show as Charging under External Power. To view your Wall Light Solar’s Device Health:

1. Open the Ring app.
2. Tap the

   menu (☰).
3. Tap

   Devices

   .
4. Select the

   Wall Light Solar

   device you would like to check.
5. Tap the

   Device Health

   tile.
6. Scroll down to the

   Power

   section to see your device’s

   Battery Level

   .
7. Check your device’s

   External Power

   status:
   1. None

      : Either no external power source is connected, or your Wall Light Solar is not being charged with one.
   2. Charging

      : The Wall Light Solar is currently using power from a connected external source, which includes the Indoor/Outdoor Adapter or an external Solar Panel.
