Data usage of Stick Up Cam (2nd Gen)

Stick Up Cam will only use data when it’s activated by an event or when you access Live View via the Ring app. If Stick Up Cam doesn’t detect motion or isn’t activated with the app, it won’t use your data. Video Recordings

Reviewing previously recorded video on your Ring cameras and doorbells requires a Ring Home subscription.

Mounting location for your Stick Up Cam (2nd Gen)

Stick Up Cam can be mounted anywhere indoors or out, it can sit on its own stand or be mounted to a wall or ceiling, but works best when approximately five to seven feet off the ground. Stick Up Cam can be adjusted to point in any direction to monitor areas around your home. Charging Stick Up Cam (2nd Gen)

You will need to use the orange USB cable provided in the package. Plug one end into the battery and the other into an available USB port. When charging you will see both a red and green light. When the battery is fully charged, only the green light will be glowing. It can take between 5-10 hours to fully charge the battery, depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or a wall outlet.
