How Ring Alarm Flood and Freeze Sensor Works
Learn how the Ring Alarm Flood & Freeze Sensor works with the Ring Alarm Base Station to alert1 you when water or freezing temperatures are detected in your home.
What is the Ring Flood & Freeze Sensor?
Ring’s Flood & Freeze sensor will detect water where it's installed or when the temperature drops below 40-degrees Fahrenheit. Should the sensor detect these things, it will send a notification1 to the Base Station and alert you of a water leak or a heating system issue inside your home that needs immediate attention.
Why have a Flood & Freeze Sensor?
Every year water leaks cause extensive damage to homes, costing homeowners thousands of dollars in repairs. When water enters your home from a leaking water heater, broken washing machine, or overflowing sump pump, it can wreak havoc on your home. This sensor will help you to protect your home by detecting water as soon as possible, limiting the damage that can occur.
