Ring Alarm Motion Detector Settings (All Generations)

Keep your home or business protected and avoid false alarms by adjusting Ring Alarm Motion Detector’s motion detection sensitivity settings.

Test your Motion Detector after installation.

Ensure you’ve selected the correct settings to accommodate pets, obstacles or environmental factors by testing your Motion Detectors ability to detect motion and avoid false alarms.

Adjust motion sensitivity settings

Motion Detector (2nd generation) is designed to measure both heat and movement over time to help reduce false alarms.
