Manage your Amazon Key Access Alerts (for Residents and Staff)

Make sure you’re receiving the notifications you want for your Amazon Key Access device.

How to turn Ring Alerts on and off for Amazon Key Access

In the Ring app:

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap the intercom's tile under Devices.

3. Tap any Key Access-enabled Entrance.
4. Toggle on or off Ring Alerts.

How to turn Unlock Alerts on and off for Amazon Key Access

In the Ring app:

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap the intercom's tile under Devices.

3. Tap

   any Key Access-enabled Entrance.
4. Toggle Unlock Alerts on or off (to the right of the lock icon)

Note: If notifications for the Ring app are turned off in your phone's settings, you'll be prompted to turn them on.

• Turn on notifications for iPhone

• Turn on notifications for Android.

After enabling notifications, wait a few minutes for the change to take effect.

Troubleshooting audio issues with Ring Alerts and Unlock Alerts

If your Ring Alerts and Unlock Alerts are on but you can’t hear them, try the following steps:

• Ensure your phone is not on silent mode, and the volume is turned up.
• Confirm that notifications for the Ring app are enabled in your phone’s settings.
• Check your Ring app's alert tones:

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap the intercom's tile under Devices.

3. Tap

   any Key Access-enabled Entrance

   Device Settings

   .
5. Tap

   Notification Settings

   .
6. Select

   App Alert Tones

   .
7. Make sure both

   Ring Sounds

   and

   Unlock Sounds

   are set to an audible tone, not Silent.
