Intercom Calls
Intercom Calls lets you see and respond to incoming calls from Ring Intercom devices and Amazon Key Access Virtual Intercom. Intercom Calls appear as full-screen alerts that vibrate and play your ringtone according to your device’s settings. Note: You will only receive an Intercom Call when a visitor calls your intercom to request access. Intercom Calls are not actual calls to your mobile phone.
Understanding Your Incoming Call Options for Ring Intercom Video:
When someone calls your Ring Intercom video, you have two ways to respond: 1. Intercom Call (Full Call Experience) – Enabled by default. When you answer an Intercom Call, it connects with both video and audio automatically, acting like a phone call. This provides immediate two-way video and audio communication with your visitor. 2. Push Notification (Check First, Then Decide) – Available, whether Intercom Calls are enabled or disabled. When you tap a push notification, it opens the video stream so you can see who's there, but audio is not automatically connected. This lets you check your video screen first before deciding whether to answer—similar to looking at a video handset screen before picking up.
To receive Intercom Calls:
