Using Level locks with Ring

With Level locks and the Ring app, you can:

• Share access with family, friends, and service providers.
• Set up automatic locking when someone leaves.
• Get notifications when people enter or exit.
• Check your lock's status from the Ring app dashboard.

To use Level locks with Ring, you need:

• A compatible Ring device.

• Link your Level app and Ring app.
• An Amazon account connected to Ring.

Installing the Level locks

Install the Level lock before setting it up in the Level Home app. View instructions for installing Level locks on Level support.

Setting up your Level locks in the Level app

Download the Level Home app, and create an account.

Set up the Level lock, and connect it with Amazon Sidewalk:

1. In the Level Home app, tap the

   +

   in the upper right.
2. If it isn't already selected, swipe to choose

   Add Hardware

   .
3. Tap the tile for the appropriate Level locks.
4. Follow the prompts to give the lock a name, address, and image, and add it to a location.
5. When the app finds a lock that's available for pairing, tap

   Connect with my location

   .
6. Select

   Amazon Sidewalk

   , and tap

   Continue

   .
7. Tap

   Continue

   again after the Works with Ring message.
8. Tap

   Continue

   to enter your Amazon account login information, and then tap

   Sign-In

   .
9. Wait while setup completes, and then tap

   Continue

   when you see the Completed message.

Connecting an existing Level lock to Amazon Sidewalk

Before connecting to Amazon Sidewalk, make sure your Level Home app version and Level device firmware are up to date.

• Confirm that your Level Home app is up to date

Connect your Level lock to Amazon Sidewalk. In the Level Home app:

1. Tap the

   lock settings icon

   .
2. Tap the

   arrow icon

   for the locks you'd like to connect to.
3. Tap

   Works With

   .
4. Select

   Amazon Sidewalk

   , and tap

   Continue

   .
   • Use the same Amazon account that you have linked to or will link in the Ring app.
5. Tap

   Sign-In

   to complete the process.

Adding your Level locks to the Ring app

1. Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.

2. Tap Set Up a Device at the bottom of the screen.

3. Tap

   Set up a non-Ring device or choose manually

4. Follow the in-app prompts to complete setup.
