How to Purchase Professional Protection Services
Add total peace of mind to your Ring Home Standard or Premium plan with two kinds of around-the-clock and when-you-want-it protection services: Alarm Professional Monitoring¹ or Virtual Security Guard². Ring Alarm is required to add a Professional Protection Service to your device location.
If you choose to add Virtual Security Guard, Alarm Professional Monitoring is included.
Adding a Professional Protection Service
- While subscribing, you'll have the option to add Virtual Security Guard and/or Alarm Professional Monitoring.

To enable Virtual Security Guard, you must first enroll in Alarm Professional Monitoring in the Ring app or in your account at Ring.com.
Already have a Ring Home Premium or Standard plan?
- Under Plans, if eligible you'll see an option toAdd Professional Protection.
- Select Virtual Security Guard or Alarm Professional Monitoring.

Service available within the U.S. (all 50 states, but not U.S. territories) and in Canada (excluding Quebec). Ring does not own its monitoring center.
