Receiving a Confirmation Call When you Cancel an Accidental Alarm
When false alarms happen and you can't disarm¹ your Ring Alarm within the entry delay time, the Confirmation Call² feature gives you peace of mind.
To use this feature, you'll need to subscribe to Ring Home Standard or Premium and add-on Alarm Professional Monitoring (separate purchase required).
When you turn on the Confirmation Call, your first emergency contact will get an automated phone call if you disarm your Ring Alarm after the alarm sounds, but before the monitoring center calls.
Turning on or off the Confirmation Call
- Open theRing app.
- Tap on themenu (☰).
- TapSettings.
- TapMonitoring Settings.
- Turn the Confirmation Call settingonoroff.
Important! All professionally monitored² Ring Alarm systems will have this setting off by default.
