Receiving a Confirmation Call When you Cancel an Accidental Alarm

When false alarms happen and you can't disarm¹ your Ring Alarm within the entry delay time, the Confirmation Call² feature gives you peace of mind.

To use this feature, you'll need to subscribe to Ring Protect Pro and enroll in Alarm Professional Monitoring.

When you turn on the Confirmation Call, your first emergency contact will get an automated phone call if you disarm your Ring Alarm after the alarm sounds, but before the monitoring center calls.

Turning on or off the Confirmation Call

  1. Open the
    Ring app.
  2. Tap on the
    menu (☰).
  3. Tap
    Settings.
  4. Tap
    Monitoring Settings.
  5. Turn the Confirmation Call setting
    on
    or
    off
    .

Important! All professionally monitored² Ring Alarm systems will have this setting off by default.
