Linking Level lock with Amazon Sidewalk in the Ring App

Learn how to set up and use your Level lock in the Ring app.

About Level Locks

The Level Bolt and Level Touch are smart locks, designed to fit easily into a deadbolt opening and blend naturally with the style of a home.

You can access your Level Bolt and Level Touch functions inside the Ring app by linking your Level  app with your compatible Video Doorbells. You also need to connect your Amazon account to your Ring app and enable Amazon Sidewalk. 

Ring Video Doorbell compatibility

You can check whether or not your model of Ring doorbell is compatible by referencing the serial on the back of the device. If the serial number starts with BHL3 or contains 15N in the number, it is Sidewalk-compatible.

Set up your Level lock in the Level app

1. Download the Level app.
2. Set up your Level lock in the Level app.
3. Choose

   Works with Ring

   during setup.
4. Select

   Amazon Sidewalk

   .
5. Sign in with your Amazon account.

Link your Ring and Amazon accounts in the Ring app

1. Open the Ring app.
2. Tap 

   menu

    (☰).
3. Tap 

   Control Center

   .
4. Scroll down and tap 

   Amazon Account Linking

   .
5. Under Link Amazon Account, tap 

   Link

   .
6. For security, you'll need to enter your Ring account password.
7. Tap 

   Agree and Continue.

    
8. Enter your Amazon account email and password, and tap 

   Sign In

   .
9. Amazon may ask to verify your account by text or email with a confirmation link. Tap the link to verify. 
10. Your Ring and Amazon accounts are now linked.

Link your Level Device in the Ring app

1. Open the Ring app.
2. Tap 

   menu

    (☰).
3. Tap

   Set up a Device

   .
4. Scroll down and tap

   Locks and Access Control

   .
5. In the

   Lock Partners

   Section, tap

   Level Lock

   .
6. Follow the steps to link your Amazon and Ring accounts if they're not linked already
7. Follow the steps to link your Ring and Level accounts.
8. Once you've completed the linking, you'll see a tile for your lock on the home screen of your Ring app.
