Create a Routine using Alexa Once your devices are linked, to create a Routine in the Alexa app for your Ring Video Doorbell, Security Camera(s), or other devices: Open the Alexa app. Tap More . Select Routines from the menu. Tap the + icon to Create Routine . Tap Add an event . Tap Smart Home. Select your device from the Choose Device screen. Choose the Ring device you are creating the Routine for. Select which behaviour will trigger your Routine. Tap Next . Tap the + icon under the Alexa Will section to Add an action .
