How to make your Ring Alarm ignore certain sensors
If confirmed, the Alarm will arm. If declined, the Alarm will remain disarmed. Note: Your Alarm can bypass any sensor when in Home or Away mode. The Ring app will inform you of the bypassed sensors before changing mode and a push notification will be sent when all sensors are bypassed. Bypassed sensors will also be listed in the Alarm event history timeline. 2 A bypassed sensor will not trigger the alarm and will not trigger emergency response for those with Alarm Calls. Note: When the Ring Alarm is on Alarm Cellular Backup 3 , arming the system will cause any faulted sensors to be automatically bypassed.
