How do you sign up for Assisted Monitoring?

To get Assisted Monitoring¹ for your Ring Alarm, you need to complete these 3 steps.

Step 1: Sign up for Ring Protect Plus

Visit Ring.com, log into your account, and sign up for Ring Protect Plus. Please note that you’ll need to have at least one Ring device, such as your Ring Alarm Base Station or a Ring camera set up on your account.

Step 2: Set up Assisted Monitoring 

Subscribing to Ring Protect Plus does not automatically enroll you in Assisted Monitoring. However, it's easy to complete your Assisted Monitoring setup. We’ll ask you to confirm a few details and let us know who we should contact in an emergency. You’ll also choose a verbal password.

To enrol using the Ring app:

1. Open the Ring app
2. Tap the

   Menu
3. Tap

   Settings
4. Tap

   Monitoring
5. Tap

   Assisted

   Monitoring
6. Tap

   I Agree

   to agree to the terms and conditions
7. Complete the rest of the Assisted Monitoring setup, then check your email

To enrol online:

1. Visit

   Ring.com

   in the top navigation
3. Tap

   Monitoring
4. Tap

   Assisted

   Monitoring
5. Tap

   I Agree

   to agree to the terms and conditions
6. Complete the rest of the Assisted Monitoring setup, then check your email

Step 3: Check your email

If you’ve successfully completed your enrollment, you’ll receive a “Welcome to Assisted Monitoring” email.
