Setup

1. Remove the cover.

2. Remove and charge the battery.

3. Download the Ring Always Home app.

4. Scan the QR code on your device.

Peephole installation

This product is compatible with fire-rated doors under the following conditions:

Wood construction

Peephole diameter: 12.7 mm to 14.3 mm

1. If you have a previously installed Peephole Cam, remove it.

NOTE: For instructions on how to remove your previously installed Peephole Cam, visit ring.com/manuals.

2. Use the included peephole key to scrape away any paint covering the edges of the viewer's lens or rear side.

3. Use the peephole key to unscrew the slotted side, then slide both halves of the viewer out.

4. Use the peephole key to smooth any sharp or jagged edges on the hole.

5. Insert the outdoor half of your camera through the hole, ensuring the cable reaches the other side.

6. If your camera does not fit, insert the included adapter tube.

NOTE: DO NOT use an adapter from previous Peephole Cam.

7. Slide the indoor half of your camera onto the tube.

NOTE: Do not install the indoor half outdoors or where it can be exposed to water.

8. Pull the connector cable until there is no more slack, then remove the connector cap.

9. Place the included nut over the tube, ensuring the threads are aligned.

10. Turn the nut clockwise with your hand or the peephole key until your camera is fully secure.

NOTE: Hold onto the outdoor half to ensure both halves stay straight and level.

11. Plug the connector cable into the back of your camera.

NOTE: Once fully inserted, you should feel a click.

12. Re-insert the battery.

13. Attach the back cover.
