WARNING: Electrical shock hazard. Disconnect power to installation area at your circuit breaker or fuse box before beginning installation. Always use caution when handling electrical wiring.
Installation by a qualified electrician may be required in your area. Refer to your local laws and building codes before performing electrical work; permits and/or professional installation may be required by law.

SAFELY CONNECTING YOUR SPOTLIGHT CAM PRO (2ND GEN) TO YOUR HOME’S ELECTRICAL WIRING
WARNING: You must disconnect the power source at the home’s circuit breaker or consumer unit and test that the power is off BEFORE removing an existing light fixture, installing the device, or touching electrical wires. It is extremely important to adhere to this safety precaution, especially if any natural gas, petrol fumes, or other potentially explosive fumes may be present in the vicinity. The provided screwdriver is not insulated. DO NOT USE if power has not been disconnected. Failure to turn off circuit breaker or consumer unit could result in EXPLOSION, FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, DEATH, OTHER INJURY or PROPERTY DAMAGE.
BEFORE installing the device, review the diagrams and instructions provided. If the electrical wiring in the home does not resemble any of these diagrams or instructions, if you encounter damaged or unsafe wiring, or if you are unsure or uncomfortable in performing this installation or handling mains electrical wiring, please consult a qualified electrician. Verify that the supply voltage is correct. Connect fixture to a 100 VAC~240 VAC 50/60 Hz power source. You must ensure that you correctly identify Line, Neutral and Earth feeds from the home, and that these are installed in the correct terminals. If no Earth wire is present, DO NOT INSTALL. Contact a qualified electrician.
WARNING: Ensure the use of correct mounting hardware for the installation surface. If the included mounting hardware is not suitable, purchase suitable hardware.
More than one disconnect switch may be required to turn off power to the equip- ment before servicing. Perform safe isolation of the circuit before commencing installation. The disconnect device for this equipment shall be provided as part of the building installation and in a readily accessible location.
WARNING: Ensure all power cables are rated for the location they are in accord- ing to applicable local electrical code, and that mechanical protection is used to prevent the cable from becoming cut. Ensure cables are securely clamped to the bracket, but do not over tighten.
FOR DEVICES WITH AN AC ADAPTER:
Your device does not have an on/off button. If you wish to stop power from flowing into your device, unplug the power cord. Do not plug multiple electric devices into the same wall socket. Overloading a socket can cause it to overheat and may result in a fire.
CAUTION: For use only on a socket outlet protected by 30mA Residual Current protective Device (RCD).
When used outdoors, install only to a covered RCD protected socket outlet that is weatherproof with the power unit connected to the receptacle. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.
Your device can be powered with an AC adapter. If the adapter or cable appears damaged, discontinue use immediately. Install your power adapter into an easily accessible socket-outlet located near the equipment that will be plugged into or powered by the adapter.
Do not expose your device or adaptor to liquids. If your device or adaptor gets wet, carefully unplug all cables without getting your hands wet and wait for the device and adaptor to dry completely before plugging them in again. Do not attempt to dry your device or adaptor with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or a hairdryer. If the device or adaptor appear damaged, discontinue use immediately. Use only accessories supplied with the device to power your device.
Install your power adaptor into an easily accessible socket-outlet located near the equipment that will be plugged into or powered by the adaptor.
FOR DEVICES WITH A POWER OVER ETHERNET (POE) ADAPTER:
Your device may ship with a Power over Ethernet Adapter. For best performance, we recommend pairing the adapter with an ethernet cable that is rated for outdoor use.
Do not expose your adapter to steam, extreme heat or cold. Use your adapter in a location where temperatures remain within the adapter’s operating temperature range set forth in this guide. Your adapter may get warm during normal use.
The junction box is for outdoor installations only. When using the adapter indoors, do not cover the adapter or place it in an airtight enclosure. Doing so could result in hot temperatures and create a risk for injuries.
Before handling the adapter, unplug the Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable from the Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch and allow the adapter to cool.
OTHER SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
Your device, AC adapter, and Power over Ethernet adapter when assembled with the provided junction box can withstand outdoor use and contact with water under certain conditions. However, your device is not intended for underwater use and may experience temporary effects from exposure to water. Do not intentionally immerse your device in water. Do not spill any food, oil, lotion, or other abrasive substances on your device. Do not expose your device to pressurized water, high velocity water, or extremely humid conditions (such as a steam room). Do not expose your device to salt water or other conductive liquids. To protect against electric shock, do not place cord, plug, or device in water or other liquids.If your device gets wet from immersion in water or high pressure water, carefully disconnect all cables without getting your hands wet and wait for them to dry completely before powering it on again. Do not attempt to dry your device with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or a hair dryer. To avoid risk of electric shock, do not touch your device or any wires connected to your device during a lightning storm while your device is powered. If your device appears to be damaged, discontinue use immediately.
Use only accessories supplied with your device, or specifically marketed for use with your device, to power your device. Use of third-party accessories may impact your device’s performance. In limited circumstances, use of third-party accessories may void your device’s limited warranty. In addition, use of incompatible third-party accessories may cause damage to your device or the third-party accessory. Read all safety instructions for any accessories before using with your device.
WARNING: Small parts contained in your device and its accessories may present a choking hazard to small children.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
Following periods of extended use, the Spotlight Cam Pro (2nd Gen) may feel hot to touch. Please wait 15 minutes after the Spotlight Cam Pro (2nd Gen) is no longer in use before touching or moving.
Do not cut any wires with factory installed wire connectors or remove the wire connectors.
Do not install on circuits feeding motor loads such as kitchen appliances, HVAC equipment, washer/ dryer or garage door openers.
Do not install when it is raining.
Do not stare directly at the LEDs for more than a few seconds to avoid eye injury.
CAUTION: When mounting this device in elevated locations, use precautions to ensure that the device does not fall and harm bystanders.
PROTECTION AGAINST WATER
If your device is dropped or otherwise damaged, the waterproofing of the device may be compromised.

LIMITED WARRANTY
If you purchased your Ring devices or accessories (the “Device”) from Ring, Amazon or from authorized resellers, the Warranty for the Device is provided by Ring LLC, 12515 Cerise Avenue, Hawthorne, CA 90250, United States (“Ring”). The provider of this warranty is sometimes referred to herein as “we.”
When you purchase a new or Certified Refurbished Device (which, for clarity, excludes Devices sold as “Used” & Used Devices sold as Warehouse Deals), we warrant the Device against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for one year from the date of original retail purchase. During this warranty period, if a defect arises in the Device, and you follow the instructions for returning the Device, we will at our option, to the extent permitted by law, either (i) repair the Device using either new or refurbished parts, (ii) replace the Device with a new or refurbished Device that is equivalent to the Device to be replaced, or (iii) refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the Device. This limited warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any repair, replacement part or replacement device for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety days, whichever period is longer. It is possible that such storage media, data, software or other materials will be destroyed, lost or reformatted during service, and we will not be responsible for any such damage or loss.
