Fix upside-down Ring Indoor Cam videos

Depending on the way your Indoor Cam (1st Gen or 2nd Gen) is placed, usually when it's mounted on the ceiling, you might find that Live View and videos are upside down. To fix this, adjust your camera's video orientation in the Ring app.

Important note: Rotate Video is only available on Indoor Cams. If you are experiencing upside-down videos on other Ring cameras, make sure they are mounted or placed in an upright position.

How to rotate video orientation in the Ring app

• Open the Ring app.
• Tap the

  menu

  (≡).
• Tap

  Devices.
• Select your Indoor Cam.
• Tap

  Device Settings.
• Tap

  Video Settings.
• Tap

  Rotate Video

  to toggle video orientation.

Due to the change in camera view, you will need to set up your Customisable Motion Zones again.
