Installing No-Drill Mount (2nd Gen) for Battery Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) devices

You can use a No-Drill Mount (2nd Gen) for Battery Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) if you are a renter or simply do not want to drill holes in your walls.

The No-Drill Mount (2nd Gen) for Battery Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) uses double-sided adhesive to attach the plate to your wall so you can securely screw your Ring Battery Video Doorbell directly onto the mounting plate, no power tools required.

Important note: Make sure you have the correct No-Drill Mount (2nd Gen) for Battery Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) for your Ring Battery Video Doorbell (2nd Gen). No-Drill Mounts are model-specific and not interchangeable between different doorbell generations or models.

Installation without a Wedge or Corner Kit

1. Choose a smooth, even mounting surface, and wipe it clean.

2. Remove the protective strips from the adhesive tape.

3. Hold the mount against the mounting surface for five minutes and allow an hour for it to adhere.

4. Attach your doorbell’s mounting bracket using the two included mounting screws.

5. Hook your doorbell over the mounting bracket to attach.

6. Refer to your doorbell setup guide to secure your doorbell.

Installation with a Wedge or Corner Kit

4. Attach the Wedge or Corner Kit using the two included bracket screws.

Important note: If installing on a Wedge Kit, insert screw into a threaded hole on either side of the bottom opening. For best results, only use one Wedge or Corner Kit.

5. If your doorbell has a faceplate, use the removal tool included with your doorbell to remove it.

6. Attach your doorbell’s mounting bracket using the two included mounting screws.

7. Hook your doorbell over the mounting bracket to attach.

8. Refer to your doorbell setup guide to reattach the faceplate and secure your doorbell.

Removing your mount

1. Remove your doorbell and Wedge or Corner Kit (if installed).

2. Flip down both pull-tabs.

3. Firmly hold the mount and gently pull down on both adhesive strips until the mount releases from the wall.
